About The Position

Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary's leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall's local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Requirements

Studies in IT, economics, or other related fields
At least 8 years of practical development and/or functional and/or base and/or DevOps work experience in the SAP field
At least 2 years of management experience, ideally at a multinational company
Thorough knowledge of technical project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile project management
Entrepreneurial mindset and attitude, goal-oriented, independent work style and assertiveness.
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Willingness to travel
Business fluent English and Hungarian, both written

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ITIL principles and SAP security concepts
Functional experience in FI/CO, HCM, BW, SD, PP, QM
Fiori, UI5, Java, and native HANA development experience
Work experience with PI/PO/CPI
S/4 project, SAP Basis, SAP DevOps, and test automation experience
Knowledge of German

Responsibilities

Managing a technical team of 10-15 people to ensure project delivery and operations within the customer's complex SAP ecosystem, primarily in the areas of Basis, SAP Security & Authorizations, Application Lifecycle Management, and development.
The ideal candidate is capable of performing technical tasks, while also delegating effectively and ensuring the quality of the team's deliverables.
Optimizing existing systems and developing, implementing, and monitoring standards necessary for the efficient implementation of business processes.
Collaborate with IT management to regulate company-wide SAP operation and development standards, including code quality expectations, secure coding principles, and code vulnerability analysis.
Supporting innovative technical solutions, developing concepts, and supporting R&D activities.
Creating a supportive professional environment for the preservation and continuous expansion of internal process, management, and technical knowledge.
Professional coordination of external suppliers, including quality assurance.
