Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences and technical certifications are helpful but not a requirement.
  • 5+ years of software project development experience.
  • 3-7 years’ experience using PL/SQL (Oracle) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction in the requirements and design phases of a project to define and design both the business and technology solutions.
  • Create logical and physical design artifacts to be consumed by the business and technology teams.
  • Supervise the work of the technical team to define the high-level and low-level tasks required to deliver the business and technology solution.
  • Work one on one with technical team members to estimate and refine estimates to complete low-level tasks.
  • Ensure that maintenance and enhancement practices are followed to support service level agreements for system availability.
  • Liaison with other technology teams within the organization as necessary to support projects for which there are dependencies or adjacencies.
  • Work with peers within the department to define, institute, and govern architectural standards.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
