We are seeking a reliable and experienced Physical Therapist to join our rehab team as a Team Lead! - Low productivity expectations - Flexible schedule, no weekends or holidays - 1:1 Patient focused treatment A Team Lead is an evaluating and treating Physical Therapist and is responsible for the overall cohesiveness and efficiency of rehabilitation services for the therapy department at one or more assigned facilities. This includes treating patients per scope of practice and supporting an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the discipline's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The Team Lead is responsible for and contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible, and interdisciplinary fashion. POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to the duties described in the discipline specific staff Physical Therapist job description, the following job requirements are included: Travel to their specific sites to supervise staff, address any on-site needs and complete weekly check-ins with the community administration Communicate with the Area Clinical Coordinator, Regional Director of Operations or Vice President of Operations to discuss pertinent issues Act as the on-site interviewer for potential new hires after being pre-screened by recruiting or management but before they are passed to the hiring manager for salary negotiation Give recommendations to managers on new hires based on on-site interview Complete initial new hire training and orientation to include but not limited to company policies and procedures, company therapy programs, documentation training, and facility tour and policies Perform at the productivity expectation determined by the Area Clinical Coordinator, Regional Director of Operations or Vice President of Operations Participate in community/facility meetings and patient care conferences as requested Monitor daily productivity for the physical, occupational and speech therapists at their specified locations to ensure staff are in compliance with company standards Attend facility events including marketing events to promote facility census and overall growth of the partnership Participate in in-service training programs for the facility as requested Perform other duties as requested to promote the viability of Weston Healthcare Group or our host facilities, their staff, residents and residents' families Delegates work to therapists & clerk as needed to ensure efficiency and effective flow within facility Exercise classes POA phone calls Insurance Verification/Consent forms MD orders New move-in / hospital return assessments Builds relationships with Administration in facility to ensure communication, including weekly caseload, care plan meetings and attending morning meetings. Fosters positive relationships within Therapy team encouraging communication, personal growth and purpose driven work environment Assists our company's leadership in identifying educational needs of the team or facility and implements corresponding in-service education (i.e. transfer training, dementia training, etc.) Helps with new therapist education/orientation Orientation check list Medicare documentation guidelines Building procedures Attends Team Lead calls and disseminates appropriate information to all staff
