About The Position
The Team Lead, Operations Engineering will lead and manage the engineering functions supporting offshore oil and gas production facilities across all of Murphy's offshore facilities including two SPARs, two Semi-sub FPUs, an FPSO, etc. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all production processes, facilities, and equipment operate efficiently, meet production targets, and comply with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership abilities, demonstrating the capability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams. They should exhibit strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate must be adaptable, able to work under pressure, and adjust to the dynamic challenges of offshore operations. The Team Lead, Operations Engineering, will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remotely.
