Team Lead, Monitor Technician
About The Position
The Team Leader assists the Department Manager and Supervisor in the coordination, education and daily operations of the monitoring stations and support staff to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the performance of monitoring patient's rhythms. The Team Leader understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Health & Hospitals, including the HVS Division. Basic Life Support Required. Requirements
- Basic Life Support Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 3 Years Healthcare Required
- 1 Year Leadership Required
Responsibilities
- Assists the Department Manager and Supervisor in the coordination of monitoring stations
- Assists the Department Manager and Supervisor in the education of support staff
- Assists the Department Manager and Supervisor in the daily operations of the monitoring stations and support staff
- Ensures consistent standards of practice and competencies in the performance of monitoring patient's rhythms
- Understands the needs of the organization
- Supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Health & Hospitals, including the HVS Division
