About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Medical Assistant to support our clinical operations while leading and mentoring our Medical Assistant team. The ideal candidate has strong EMR experience, knowledge of MIPS quality measures, and the ability to partner closely with the Clinical Director to support efficient, high‑quality patient care.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
MIPS experience or understanding of quality measures.
Leadership experience or strong readiness for a lead role.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced medical environment.

Nice To Haves

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
Athena preferred

Responsibilities

Perform Medical Assistant duties including patient intake, vitals, rooming, and clinical support.
Ensure accurate EMR/EHR documentation and workflow compliance.
Provide daily leadership, guidance, and support to Medical Assistants.
Serve as a liaison between the Medical Assistant team and the Clinical Director.
Assist with onboarding, training, and competency development.
Support MIPS documentation and quality reporting initiatives.
Oversee MA productivity and professionalism in all clinic areas.
Maintain clean, organized, patient‑ready rooms and workspaces.
Assist with inventory management, including McKesson coordination and supporting X‑ray ordering needs.
Monitor attendance expectations, including punctuality and return‑from‑break consistency.
Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and enhanced patient experience.
