The Maintenance Team Lead for the 3rd Shift at Ann St will be responsible for ensuring that all employees follow safety policies, HR policies, and the company's quality policy. This role involves leading small projects, completing documentation for safety incidents, and managing maintenance software data entry. The position requires proficiency in operating various tools and instruments, advising supervisors on issues, and improving equipment effectiveness through analysis and troubleshooting. The Maintenance Team Lead will also be responsible for training lower-level technicians and ensuring compliance with safety and ergonomic standards.

Requirements

  • AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance (preferred)
  • Certificates or degrees as an Electrician / Mechanic or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  • 5+ years proven experience with PLC and HMI Hardware/Software (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Proficient in Ohm’s Law and NEC
  • Strong troubleshooting skills on mechanical, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with Variable speed drivers, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow the company values and Quality policy
  • Ensure all employees are following safety policies
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and follow HR policies and procedures
  • May give verbal input regarding employee performance during employee review process
  • May lead small projects
  • Complete proper documentation for safety environmental incidents
  • Complete all required data entry & documentation in Maintenance software
  • Attend meetings as needed
  • Distribute department work orders
  • Advise Supervisor of problems, make suggestions and repairs as needed
  • Provide feedback regarding PMs with details to reduce and minimize downtime
  • Work to improve equipment effectiveness through failure analysis and troubleshooting
  • Guide lower level technicians in preventive maintenance work
  • Identify and anticipate major repairs and replacements
  • Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment
  • Replace faulty electrical components of machines
  • Maintain and improve electrical infrastructure
  • Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components
  • Diagnose and replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
  • Perform service calls and prioritize emergency breakdowns
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards
  • Train lower level partners in maintenance, safety, quality, and production expectations
  • Follow and maintain Lean activities
  • Assist with training as needed
