The Team Lead IV is responsible for overseeing daily operations within an assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This role serves as a liaison between frontline team members and management, providing leadership, coaching, and direction to achieve production goals. The Team Lead IV will be instrumental in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and cultivating a positive team environment. Requirements

  • 8 years of work experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing or medical device environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Technical aptitude with production equipment and machinery
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands

Responsibilities

  • Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
  • Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
  • Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
  • Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
  • Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.
