About The Position

The Team Lead II - Registration performs a variety of data entry and general
registration functions for the Outpatient Departments in the facility. It is the
responsibility of the Registration Team Lead to accurately collect patient
demographic and insurance data to ensure appropriate reimbursement and claim
filing. The team lead will utilize technology to accurately quote and collect
patient liabilities that have been identified by the insurance company and
obtain any necessary authorizations to cover the Outpatient Services. The team
lead will also be responsible for management functions related to the outpatient
registrars. They will also be a resource for fellow team members and manage any
issues that have been escalated by the registrars. Under the direction of the
Patient Access Manager, is responsible to follow all registration and admitting
policies and procedures. Acts as a resource in providing all customers with the
highest level of service. Enhances the hospital experience for patients,
families and visitors by providing appropriate hospitality and concierge
services.
