About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and scale a global, high-impact outsourcing and services organization within a cutting-edge technology environment. The Team Lead will define the strategic vision for external workforce architecture, partner with executive stakeholders, and manage a diverse portfolio across technical, operational, and corporate functions. You will build high-performing teams of Category Managers, establish strategic supplier alliances, and drive innovative, outcome-focused commercial agreements. This position combines executive-level influence, complex deal structuring, and operational leadership to ensure scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency across a global services ecosystem. Requirements

  • 12+ years of strategic procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, with at least 5 years leading high-performance teams in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated executive presence with experience influencing Director-level and above stakeholders to drive organizational change
  • Deep expertise in global BPO, Engineering Services, or technical outsourcing, including large-scale managed service implementations, captive center setups, and complex "Lift and Shift" transitions
  • Proven ability to manage diverse portfolios spanning highly technical and highly subjective categories
  • Master-level knowledge of complex contracts and Master Services Agreements (MSAs), including IP ownership, liability caps, and labor compliance across global markets
  • Strategic vision with the ability to design and evolve supplier networks to support 3-5 year business growth objectives
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to balance long-term strategy and immediate operational needs

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields
  • Experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Automotive, or Big Tech sectors, partnering with suppliers on complex workflows and “Human-in-the-Loop” AI operations
  • Experience managing Category Managers or global teams across multiple time zones

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of high-performing Category Managers, providing strategic direction and operational oversight across Engineering, Operations, and Corporate functions
  • Define and execute enterprise outsourcing strategies, partnering with executives to design global workforce architectures for critical functions such as Mapping, Labeling, Hardware Engineering, and Corporate services
  • Cultivate strategic supplier relationships with top-tier BPO and Engineering Services providers, unlocking preferential access to talent and fostering innovation
  • Oversee the $100M+ services portfolio, transitioning from transactional vendor usage to strategic capability building and long-term partnerships
  • Architect complex commercial agreements, including outcome-based contracts and bespoke service arrangements, balancing risk and reward with strategic partners
  • Establish governance frameworks for third-party risk management, ensuring IP protection, data security, and global compliance across suppliers
  • Drive continuous improvement and category transformation initiatives to support scalability, operational excellence, and cost optimization
