As Expedition Team Lead, you will work closely with the supervisors of your department to ensure operational processes are respected by all employees. You will specifically oversee picking, sorting, shipping, problem-solving, and employees.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce or a fast-paced work environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a team lead in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Diploma in Logistics/Operations or equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Comfort with technological platforms and an ease of learning related to them.
  • Comfortable with a flexible work schedule, motivated, talented, and ready to go the extra mile to serve our customers.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource person, emphasizing the importance of quality standards and compliance with safety measures.
  • Meet daily objectives as assigned by the shift supervisor.
  • Supervise a small team of clerks in their operational tasks (picking, sorting, shipping) and take charge of ad hoc tasks.
  • Ensure the planning and daily adjustment of the hours necessary to process the workload under your charge.
  • Monitor service levels for certain tasks and take action when necessary.
  • Take charge of complex or abnormal problem-solving tasks.
  • Act as a bridge between the warehouse and other departments to manage exceptional cases.
  • Ensure the training of new incoming clerks on the processes under your daily charge.
  • Identify high-potential clerks, offering them training and development opportunities to increase their skills.
  • Demonstrate dynamism and creativity with suggestions to contribute to the company's operational excellence, and recognize your team's successes.
