About The Position

The Closing department is a fast-paced department that communicates heavily with borrowers, clients, and vendors to ensure an extraordinary closing experience. The closing department is responsible for all tasks beginning when a loan signing is scheduled until all documentation has been completed. This includes balancing loan figures, conducting a final review of all documents and delivering the document package to the notary or attorney for signing At Solidifi, our Title & Closing teams are in an exciting period of substantial growth. Through fast-paced, high-volume work that extends across the country, team members have the unique opportunity to contribute to becoming a top player in the industry. With our centralized approach to the closing process, team members have the chance to become subject-matter experts on specific pieces of the real estate transaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years prior industry experience in mortgage processing, title, closing, and escrow is required.
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours when required (especially at end of month)
  • Capability to understand and operate successfully within an action-based workflow software system, Resware experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create workflow, process, efficiency, technology, and other improvements as an ongoing component to the position
  • Monitoring of SLA's and identification of areas of strength/weakness to be addressed.
  • Oversight of external and internal communications and assurance of timely and accurate responses
  • Train new employees and provide training to current staff on processes, state nuances and new client requirements/expectations
  • Support your team with the following: • Review and respond on closing related escalations • Monitor closing queue pipelines and adjust team focus as needed • Review and complete client requested reports
