About The Position

IU Health North in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Team
Lead to support daily cath lab operations while remaining hands-on with patient
care. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Radiology / Interventional
Radiology Technologist with strong cardiac cath experience who enjoys
leadership, coordination, and a fast-paced procedural environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 3-5 years of cardiac/cath lab experience.
• RN or Radiology/Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Requires advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification.
• Recommended Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Certification or equivalent.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiac catheterization procedures
• Provide direct patient care and support throughout procedures
• Staff the cath lab and manage daily case schedules and patient flow
• Coordinate department traffic control to ensure efficient throughput
• Oversee inventory management and supply readiness
• Precept and support onboarding of new staff
• Collaborate with physicians, departments, and leadership to maintain smooth daily operations
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the team
