At Children's Wisconsin, we are searching for a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Team Lead Anesthesia Technician to guide our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our youngest patients. Under the direction of the Operating Room Manager, Anesthesiologist, and licensed team members, serves as resource and mentor to the Anesthesia Technician's. Assists leadership in accomplishing goals and objectives of Surgical Services and the health system. Understands and satisfies the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regards to their growth and development process. Actively supports and participates in QI initiatives and performs the functions of the Anesthesia Technician as assigned. This position requires: Three (3) years of clinical Anesthesia Technician experience. Associate Degree in anesthesia technology and ASATT Certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required. Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and assume 24 hour availability for unit coverage. Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with leaders and staff on policy and procedure matters. Orientation will be 90 days. Requirements
