About The Position

The position involves promoting the Company's mission and values-based culture through monitoring and adjusting the flow of product through the HDPE and backup for Big Toys processes. The role requires maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting the flow of product through the HDPE/Wood department, assigning and distributing work to employees, and monitoring progress to ensure quality and performance targets are met. The individual will also assist in training new employees, perform time studies, and oversee weekly maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

• One-year practical training or education in a field related to the project.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Working knowledge in Excel, Word, LMS, and Report Manager.
• Ability to drive Forklift safely.
• Ability to read Blueprints and use a Tape Measure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress and correct workflow as needed.
• Report on the status of manufactured parts.
• Identify and report safety issues.
• Monitor quality and performance of employees.
• Attend supervisor training.
• Back up Supervisor in overseeing personnel.
• Verify hours through time clock system.
• Update department board and ensure safe practices.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment and processes.
• Perform time studies of standards.
• Troubleshoot and oversee weekly maintenance of equipment.
• Communicate program changes and requirements to Design Drafter Programmers.
• Learn to perform and oversee all HDPE/Wood functions.
• Perform weekly preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
