The Team Lead 1 is responsible for following procedures for product quality audit, equipment operation and safety standards as required. Duties and Responsibilities Assign personnel to workstations Ensure personnel are trained accordingly to meet production demands Ensure cell paperwork is being maintained and accurate (reject log, quality log, scrap tickets and stock tickets) Verify all team members meet safety PPE requirements (safety glasses, hearing protection, dust masks) Provide PPE to team members as needed Verify correct OMS are in place for current production and prior to changeovers Identify and resolve conflict with team Work closely with Supervisor on team tasks Coordinate and lead team meetings Work with material and assembly teams to ensure smooth, trouble free changeovers Work with engineer and support on any suggestions, improvements or issues that will improve output Fill in for team members when they need to leave the production line Assist the quality department on any potential or current quality issues that arise Adhere to all safety requirements in the department Practice and maintain 5S Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as OMS Basic math skills Computer proficiency Working knowledge of all equipment Perform basis line set up Able to work effectively as part of a team and with a positive attitude Leadership skills Able to learn quickly Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in Paint, Print, Pack department preferred Physical and Weight Lifting Demands The physical and weight lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
