What you will be doing: Lead the bank's strategic initiative in FI, fund financing, and syndication markets, including growth strategy development and execution. Oversee the team's loan asset quality, business developments, and product promotions to achieve the management business objective. Direct the efficient and effective business operation to conform with Bank and related laws and regulations locally and at CTBC head office. Complete assignments and duties designated by the Bank's senior management. Based on business management objectives, set up the annual goals for each marketing team member. Develop business independently and generate loan business in designated markets and industries in accordance with credit policies and procedures. Maintain good customer rapport to ensure high-level business and credit information, increase or retain existing customer business, or solicit new sources of business. Prepare credit authorization sheet and related credit analysis for all new loans according to Bank required quality and format. Regularly review and evaluate the risk of all loans within the portfolio to prevent sub-standard or worse classification. Provide supervision and training to assigned associates. Complete other independent assignments designated by the supervisor from time to time. Experience you will need: 10+ years of related experience in wholesale banking and customer relationship management, including but not limited to experiences in syndication loan/FI business. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related major required; master's degree preferred. Strong passion for helping clients identify financing solutions and is comfortable engaging with clients. Flexible to work extended hours when required. Bilingual in both Mandarin and English is required. Authorized to work in the United States.
