About The Position

The Production Team Captain is responsible for leading a group of employees on a single shift to ensure that production goals are met in accordance with quality and customer specifications. This position’s role is to effectively and efficiently communicate, co-ordinate, and prioritize all activities and production on their shift. The Production Team Lead must also be able to perform some of the required duties during the absence of shift supervision. We Are Currently Hiring For the Following Shift: B Shift: Monday-Wednesday, alternating Sundays 6:00pm to 6:30am, additional lead pay may apply

Requirements

Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations
Knowledge of product requirements and customer specifications
Understanding of all plant policies and procedures
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
Possess in-depth understanding of Production, Shipping and QA roles
Must have 1 year experience in team management and leadership role

Responsibilities

Monitors the safety and productivity of personnel in Production, Shipping, and Quality departments on their shift.
Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, supervision, and management.
Keep shift supervision informed of production downtime or breakdowns as soon as they occur.
Identify personnel related issues on their shift, including conflicts, misconduct, and accidents/injuries, and communicate with supervisor to address matter.
Ensures that all GMP’s and Safety Policies are being followed.
Provide backup support to all departments as needed on their assigned shift.
Other duties as assigned
