About The Position

A Team Captain (Team Leader) in Training is someone hungry for growth - personally, professionally, and for their team. Our Team Captains are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Captain's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Captains lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership Experience preferred; not required
  • Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture that values both people and performance, encouraging team camaraderie while driving high standards.
  • Take personal ownership for your area of the business, from guest experience to team culture to operational excellence.
  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Cash Management and daily financial duties
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Execute and evaluate food safety and food quality systems and processes
  • Manage food inventory
  • Execute and Evaluate restaurant Checklists
