Role: The Team Secretary is responsible for taking and directing phone calls and messages, and processing mail. She/he provides administrative support to the Clinical Manager and overall clerical support for the Clinical Team. Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred Previous administrative experience preferred Excellent typing, organizational, time management and communication (written and verbal) skills Computer literate with familiarity of Word processing and spreadsheet applications Customer relations’ experience preferred Medical terminology preferred Able to remain calm and troubleshoot/handle patient/family crisis situations Ability to shift priorities Able to manage the emotional stress of working with terminally ill patients and their families Ability to perform the essential functions and physical requirements (including, but not limited to: lifting items, bending, pushing/pulling, kneeling) of the job with or without reasonable accommodation Competencies: Satisfactorily complete competency requirements for this position.
