Requirements
- Experience in general computer usage, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of medical records system
- Good secretarial and organizational skills
- Good relational skills on a personal level and on the telephone
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation
- Communicates in a manner that can be understood by others
Responsibilities
- Ensure communication with, and among, team members related to all patient care information and processes.
- Responsible for front desk “reception” duties
- Responsible for clerical tasks related to patient care processes with an awareness of regulations and policies.
- Responsible for coordinating the general needs of the office, ordering of supplies, maintaining office equipment, preparing for meetings including audio/visual equipment.
- Responsible for audit and reporting on scanned EMR documents
- Supervise and train office volunteers assisting at reception desk.
- Provides input for semi-annual review of the Montrose Processes Handbook as related to position responsibilities.
