The MSW program is among the highest enrollment graduate programs at ECU and is offered in-person and online. Along with our degree programs we also offer Graduate Certificates in Substance Abuse and Gerontology and a pathway to state licensure in school social work. More information can be found at the School's website: https://hhp.ecu.edu/socw The School of Social Work is seeking applicants for a 9-month, full-time, fixed-term Teaching Instructor or Senior Teaching Instructor (non-tenure) position to begin August 2026. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in the BSW and MSW programs (including in-person and online courses, and on Saturdays), service to the profession, university, and community, and other duties as assigned. Contingent upon availability of funds.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold an MSW from a CSWE accredited program and have a minimum of 2 years full-time post-MSW practice experience.
• Qualifying degrees must be received from regionally accredited institutions.
