The School of Information and Library Science invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, fixed-term Teaching Assistant Professor position to support the Carolina Health Informatics Program ( CHIP ). We welcome scholars from health informatics or any adjacent discipline who are passionate about advancing both the scholarship and practice of health informatics. We invite applicants from any area of health informatics, including but not limited to clinical informatics, public health informatics, data science, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine. We are seeking a dynamic and committed educator to teach 9 credit hours per semester. This position would primarily serve the online and residential Master of Professional Science students enrolled in CHIP , although course enrollments would also include undergraduate and PhD students. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will also serve on committee(s) related to administering the CHIP program as well as advise students, offering academic guidance and supporting their professional development.
