About The Position
Join an amazing team of educators at B’nai Jehudah Child Development Center, a partnership between The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City and The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah. B’nai Jehudah CDC is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive community that offers full time preschool care for children ages 12 months through 2 years and full time infant care for ages 6 weeks to 1 year. The Teaching Assistant helps to provide a safe, nurturing, and exciting learning environment. Teaching Assistants collaborate with Teachers to supervise children, keep the classroom organized, and communicate with parents. Schedule Part-time working Monday-Friday 12:30pm-5:30pm
Requirements
- High School diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide for the health and safety of all children in the school
- Treat children with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times
- Provide support to teachers through lesson plan implementation, daily cleaning tasks, and supervision of children
- Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with parents
- Maintain KDHE requirements in classrooms at all times.
- Attend training and professional development opportunities as assigned
