About The Position
Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking passionate educators to join our team at one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools. MHS provides a cost-free home and top-notch education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey. As we grow to serve more students, we are accepting applications from educators who are committed to making a difference. With small class sizes typically between 11 to 14 students, MHS teachers can provide personal instruction that transforms lives. Teachers at MHS are responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that are rigorous and relevant. They create and analyze data-driven formative and summative assessments to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of individual students and the whole group. Additionally, teachers support critical initiatives such as wellness and social and emotional skills, ensuring a whole child approach to student development. This position requires a commitment to remediating students beyond regular classroom hours and includes additional duties beyond teaching schedules.
