This position requires a valid, clear renewable Georgia General Education teaching certificate in appropriate grade levels. The role involves teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies, and necessitates a strong enthusiasm for working with students, staff, and families. The teacher will provide a classroom environment that promotes active learning and demonstrates knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices. Responsibilities include effective communication with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership, as well as attending all required professional learning for teachers. The teacher will also work closely with parents/guardians regarding the student's educational program and facilitate home-school communication through various means.
