About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible to help students develop skills and knowledge consistent with the district’s curriculum and goals that will contribute to the student’s development. Maintaining a classroom climate which nurtures and supports for the learning environment Understands and uses course of study. Utilizes a variety of teaching strategies. Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for: Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in education, social services, or appropriate discipline. Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of various teaching methods. Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred. Licensure: Certification through the State of Washington Additional Skill Requirements: Successful completion CPR certification and Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression within 90 days of employment. May be required to work flexible hours. Requirements
