Requirements

Must be currently employed by Paterson Public Schools
Individual employed as Susbstitutes need not apply
Must be working within the appropriate new Jersey Content Area
New Jersey Teacher Certification, K-8, and Language Arts
Must travel from PPS to Montclair State University on a school bus with students daily
Must be proficient in Google Classroom
Experience working with Middle School students
Must be able to work the entire length and all components of the program
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with students, staff, parents, administrators, and community
Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and good moral character
Must be a critical thinker, problem solver and have respect for others
