About The Position
At Legacy Traditional Schools, we do things a special way that ignites our desire to be the best, illuminates our educators’ best talents, and fuels our school spirit. As a General Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education by motivating students to achieve academic excellence. You will provide direct instruction using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding (reading & writing) and enVision Math. Your role will involve creating a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages students' interests, and allows them to perform at their very best. You will utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through various activities designed to promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth necessary for primary school success. Additionally, you will explore individual needs, provide side-by-side support, and develop personalized solutions to each student’s learning style and abilities. You will also evaluate each student’s learning capabilities, celebrate their accomplishments, and encourage them to uphold our values and model good character both in and out of the classroom.
