About The Position
As a General Education Teacher at Legacy Traditional Schools, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you motivate students to achieve academic excellence. You will provide direct instruction using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding (reading & writing) and enVision Math. Your role will involve creating a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best. You will utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through a variety of activities designed to promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth necessary for primary school success. Additionally, you will explore individual needs and provide side-by-side support to discover how each student learns best, developing personalized solutions to their learning styles and abilities. You will master our proven curriculum, implement our educational philosophy, and guide the learning process towards achieving curriculum goals. Evaluating each student's learning capabilities and celebrating their accomplishments will be key aspects of your role, as well as encouraging students to uphold our values and model mature behavior both in and out of the classroom.
