About The Position
This position is for Coalinga State Hospital. Under direction of the Program Assistant in Central Program Services, assist patients of state hospitals to prepare to become productive and contributing members of society by training them in physical, social, intellectual, and vocational functioning; apply Trauma Informed Care principles fostering a learning environment; to provide both individual and group instruction; to participate as members of an interdisciplinary treatment team; and to play an integral role in total rehabilitation process as well as teaching the skills which will enable the patient to seek educational opportunities.
