About The Position

This in-person position focuses on leading the team for Ray-Pec high school, using strategic school relationships/connections to advance ministry. This position also oversees North Cass area camp administrative tasks, admin for fundraising events, social media/web presence and bi-weekly newsletters. This individual will fundraise to offset non-administrative hours. Please contact area staff for exact expectations. Position requires employee to live locally and may include nights/evenings and summer camp trips.

Requirements

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership on a regular basis.
• Recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team that reflects the community.
• Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping to other leaders.
• Assist in training leaders, team leaders and committee on effective teamwork and yearly ministry strategy.
• Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
• Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners.
• Network and develop strategic relationships with key adults in the community.
• Assist with camp fundraisers.
• Engage in all three levels of contact work.
• Lead a team to plan and conduct a Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry.
• Implement a summer and school-season camping strategy for ministry.
• Serve on a summer assignment at a Young Life camp each year.
• Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures.
• Manage finances with stewardship, accountability and transparency.
• Maintain accurate information on kids, leaders and donors for area records.
• Provide clear, prompt, appropriate and professional communication.
• Set yearly strategic ministry plan and initiatives to reach every kid.
