Helen Keller Services for the Blind is seeking a Full-Time New York State-licensed Special Education Teacher to join our Children Learning Center in Brooklyn, NY. SUMMARY The Special Education Teacher conducts a special education preschool classroom for children who are blind / visually impaired or those on the autistic spectrum, have multiple impairments, and have severe medical issues. Maintaining positive communication with parents, other staff members, and professionals outside of HKSB is critical to success. Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to HKSB’s Mission and Values, conduct him/herself at a high professional level at all times, and project a positive image of HKSB internally and externally
