The RISE Program (Responsive Interventions for Student Excellence) provides integrated supports to students with autism spectrum disorders, emotional disabilities, or other educational disabilities. The RISE Program is available for students who exhibit social communication needs and have not shown IEP progress at their home campus. The purpose of RISE is to support students through the use of specially-designed instruction and evidence based practices in the area of social communication, pragmatics, executive functioning, behavior skills, and academic needs. The RISE program provides a small group setting with high staff to student ratio in an environment working towards grade-level curricular standards with opportunities for inclusion with non-disabled peers.
