About The Position
The Middle School Social Studies Teacher is responsible for developing in each pupil an appreciation of American ideals and cultural heritage, as well as proficiency in social studies inquiry skills and concepts. The teacher will motivate students to understand and exercise their rights, privileges, and responsibilities as citizens, while also fostering an understanding of the geographical, historical, cultural, and political factors that influence world regions. The role includes encouraging students to develop sound opinions based on factual studies of political and economic systems.
