About The Position

Immaculate Conception School, located in Towson, Maryland, is seeking a
qualified full‑time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Middle School Science Teacher will provide the students a comprehensive
academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science
curriculum for grades 6-8. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month
teaching position.
This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, required.
• MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required.
• Proficient in using a variety of technology.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom teaching experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
• Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
• Creates and instructional environment conducive to learning.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of student's progress and development in a timely manner.
• Communicated standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.
