About The Position

The Reading Interventionist is responsible for diagnosing student reading strengths and weaknesses, planning and delivering intensive reading support through explicit, systematic, and multisensory interventions, and monitoring the effectiveness of these interventions. This role is crucial in enhancing students' reading skills and ensuring their academic success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Three years of elementary K-5 classroom teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Florida's Educator's Certificate.
• Reading Endorsement or Reading Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose student reading strengths and deficits.
• Plan and provide intensive reading supports using explicit, systematic, and multisensory interventions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of reading interventions.
