About The Position
The mission of this role is to provide dyslexia intervention to identified students and conduct dyslexia assessments. The position requires communication with campus staff, district special education staff, and parents/guardians regarding student needs. Success in this role involves delivering an evidence-based dyslexia program with fidelity to eligible students, collaborating with regular education teachers and special education staff to develop PLAAFP and annual goals/objectives for IEPs, and participating in MTSS, Section 504, and ARD committees to make collaborative decisions about dyslexia. The role also includes administering and interpreting comprehensive dyslexia assessments, attending ongoing staff development in dyslexia and related disorders, and maintaining all required reports and records.
