About The Position

Under the supervision of the Principal, plan, organize, and implement appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential.

Requirements

• Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with appropriate endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Teach students using a curriculum that includes assessment and review processes.
• Develop, write, and implement lesson plans that align with district and state education standards, while tracking and maintaining records of student progress.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff to support student success.
• Adhere to and enforce school rules, policies, and procedures.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in committees as needed.
• Complete additional school duties and assignments as required.
• Perform other school duties and assignments as appointed.
