Requirements

• Arizona Secondary Certificate 6-12 with Math Approved Area
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers.
• Works extensively with students to help improve specific reading skills.
• Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions.
• Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services.
• Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials in order promote interest in reading.
