About The Position

Burlington County Special Services School District has a vacancy for a qualified candidate with valid NJDOE Instructional Certificates (Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities) to serve as a Special Education Teacher. Demonstrated knowledge and/or high interest in supporting the exceptional ages 18-21 and highly qualified in math. Ability to relate to culturally diverse student desired. Must possess strong Behavior Management Skills.

Requirements

• Valid NJDOE Instructional Certificates (Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities)
• Demonstrated knowledge and/or high interest in supporting exceptional students ages 18-21
• Highly qualified in math
• Ability to relate to culturally diverse students
• Strong Behavior Management Skills
• Required criminal history background check
• Proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
