About The Position
The Teacher of Music position at Marlinton Elementary School involves providing instruction to students as directed by the principals and serving as the Music teacher at both Marlinton Elementary and Marlinton Middle School. The role requires the implementation of the West Virginia approved instructional music curriculum at the elementary and middle school levels. The teacher will be responsible for the care, distribution, and organization of all music-related items such as instruments, uniforms, and music. Participation in school, county, regional, and/or state music-related events, including summer band camp, is also expected. The teacher will cooperate with school and county administration regarding musical activities.
