About The Position

We seek candidates who bring enthusiasm for both Computer Science and Mathematics and who are committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment for all students in the classroom. Candidates should be comfortable teaching Computer Science at both the introductory and AP levels and contributing to the broader Mathematics curriculum. The ideal candidate will support the department’s ongoing efforts to diversify and expand its curricular offerings and will be prepared to teach core courses such as Algebra and Geometry, as well as advanced courses aligned with their expertise. As a residential school, Middlesex considers the work of faculty more broadly. When we are at our best, we are engaging with our students both in and out of the classroom. Applicants should be deeply committed to embracing and supporting the diversity of our student body. Faculty members at Middlesex can expect to be responsible for weekly evening and occasional weekend supervisory duties. They will also be responsible for contributing to the life of the school through athletics (one season) and extracurricular activities. Middlesex supports faculty in this work through clear expectations, thoughtful scheduling, and a collaborative culture that values mentorship and professional growth. Competitive salary and benefits, including a strong professional development program, will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Because Middlesex School is a residential boarding school, this role may be housed on campus or be eligible for a $20,000 engagement stipend for those not housed on campus. Middlesex School is committed to bringing together a diverse faculty, staff, and student body. We encourage candidates who represent the broad, diverse community to which we aspire. Middlesex School is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an inclusive school experience for all. JOB CODE: 1000109
