About The Position

Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. ELD teacher duties may also include AZELLA testing and other ADE compliance requirements for English Learners and other PHLOTE students.

Requirements

• Arizona Elementary Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts OR English Approved Area OR Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts OR English Approved Area OR Arizona Secondary Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts OR English Approved Area OR Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with English Approved Area
• Arizona SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement OR Spanish-Bilingual Endorsement OR ESL Endorsement
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
