About The Position
As a Math Teacher at Legacy Traditional Schools, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education by helping students understand that mathematical problems have an absolute answer requiring precision, accuracy, and fluency through a spiral curriculum reinforced by mathematical practices. You will create a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best. Your role will involve utilizing direct instruction techniques to guide students through various activities designed to promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth necessary for primary school success. You will explore individual needs and provide side-by-side support to discover how each student learns best, developing personalized solutions to their learning styles and abilities. Additionally, you will master our proven curriculum, evaluate each student's learning capabilities, celebrate their accomplishments, and encourage them to uphold our values and model mature behavior both in and out of the classroom.
