About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide an educational environment for student success academically, socially, and physically.
  • Implement effective educational programs using designated course materials and best practices.
  • Serve as a student advocate and role model for parents and the community.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of child development and characteristics of assigned students.
  • Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
  • Maintain appropriate student supervision for a safe learning environment.
  • Provide instruction and modifications for students with special or diverse needs.
  • Select and adapt materials to support learning objectives and address varying learning styles.
  • Establish routines and behavior management techniques for effective classroom management.
  • Use ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning.
  • Communicate timely and accurate information regarding student progress to parents and colleagues.
  • Encourage self-assessment and assist students in developing improvement plans.
  • Participate in state-approved evaluation programs as required.
  • Engage in personal professional growth and adhere to professional standards.
