The IBMYP Coordinator leads the implementation and delivery of the IB program, ensuring alignment with IB standards and practices. The role supports teachers through professional development, coaching, and collaborative planning, while promoting consistent instructional practices that improve student outcomes. The Coordinator also monitors program effectiveness and prepares the school for the IB five-year evaluation process. The Coordinator serves as a liaison among staff, students, families, the IB organization, and regional networks, promoting understanding and engagement in the MYP. This role participates on the Building Leadership Team and administrative team, builds community partnerships, and supports alignment of the K–12 IB continuum across feeder schools to ensure program consistency and success.
