About The Position
Teacher - HS Mathematics - Algebra I and II / Geometry / Consumer Mathematics Posting Date: March 14, 2025 Start Date: August 7, 2025 Location: Jefferson Jr./Sr. High School - Jefferson Township Local Schools We are a 30 sq. mile urban/rural district in southwest Montgomery County with a great deal of very rich, fertile farmland. There are only two districts in Ohio smaller than Jefferson Township. We have a total enrollment of 285 students with 135 students at the Jr./Sr. High School and 150 at our K-6 Blairwood Elementary building. We just completed construction of an Ag Ed program in partnership with the MVCTC - complete with a barn and greenhouse. Our students now have instruction in welding, construction, small engine repair, small animal care and hydroponics. We have a new BOE (January 2024), Superintendent (April 2024), Strategic Plan, Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Brand (June, 2024). Our Brand - "Learning is our Product. It is also our Most Important Process!" We have a new SmartLab at the Jr./Sr. High School (November, 2024). A SmartLab engages students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and math through student-led, project-based learning. Our athletic teams include football, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls bowling, and boys and girls track and field. Our enrollment is increasing, our academics are improving and our Bronco P.R.I.D.E. (Purpose, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, Excellence) is contagious and on full display daily. We are a process driven, results-focused school district that continues to get a little bit better every day!
