About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Social Studies teacher with a focus on History. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in both distance and in-person learning environments. The teacher will create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for history. This position requires collaboration with other educators and staff to develop curriculum and assess student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Social Studies or History
• Strong knowledge of historical content and teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs

Nice To Haves

• Experience with distance learning platforms
• Master's degree in Education or History
• Previous teaching experience at the high school level
• Familiarity with curriculum development
