About The Position

Qualifications: NJ School Counselor or Student Personnel Services Certificate Experience working with high school students Knowledge of high school graduation requirements Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with staff, students, parents and the community Must be currently employed by the district Additional Information: Must be able to work Freshmen Orientation (where applicable) Must complete summer responsibilities by specified dates Workday will consist of a minimum of 4 hours One-Three Workdays must be scheduled between July 1 and July 16 Remaining days must be completed during the last two weeks of August for scheduling Deviation from this schedule must be pre-approved by the Guidance Supervisor Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable Pending budget availability All postings are open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted or until filled Paterson Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the community we serve.
